The Best Investment You'll Ever Make I noticed this book along with my other two LSAT-prep purchases today looking back at age-old Amazon purchases for fun. Law school and the bar exam were several years ago for me, and I can honestly say now that I've been practicing law for a few years that this was one of the best investments I ever made. This book and its companion 10 Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests are without question the best way to prep. Before law school, I worked for two major test prep companies, and when I started preparing for the LSAT, I decided not to spend the thousands of dollars for a full length course. Instead, I focused on taking practice tests and going over any question I missed in intense detail to make sure I knew why I got the question wrong. Rinse and repeat. What I'd recommend is to take the first 10 tests without timing yourself, and when you go over each question, see if you can figure out for yourself why you got the question wrong. If possible, get someone else to grade the test for you so that you don't know the correct answer, and see if you can arrive at the correct answer on your second try. Then take the second test of 10 tests timed under full test conditions. Over time, if you are being careful with your test-taking and learning from your mistakes, you'll see your score go up, and that's exactly what I saw happening as time went on. I worked through these tests and moved from a score in the 160s up into the 170s. When it came time to take the real test, it was far less stressful as I was able to tell myself it was "just another test" - after all, I had already worked through 20 on my own. I scored in the high 170s, got into a good law school, and now years later, I have a great job at a great law firm. If you want to be an attorney, you have to beat the LSAT first, and this is hands down the best way to go about it. good bargain If you are doing self-prep this is a must! you need this amount of material to work through to ace the test! I purchased this book along with next 10 and super prep. I did not buy the green cover (the older tests) and put my money toward the newer individual test which worked well for my study plan. If you have the time and the money I say buy as many lsac tests as possible, it helps you get familiar with the wording and subject matters the lsac loves to test on! Straightforward actual test preps Nothing much to say here, these are the actual past LSATs combined into a book of ten. No extras such as explanations, although there is some general LSAT info at the beginning. Using these actual past LSATs is CRUCIAL to studying for the LSAT and this book of ten is the best value I've seen for them. Buy as many of the old tests as you can find! Very slow... took 3 weeks to receive! The book took 3 weeks for me to get it! They say they have it packed and ready to ship within 2 days. After 2 weeks of waiting for the initial email which was supposed to say that it had shipped.... I emailed them. No response. Two days later I emailed them again and a received a response of... we just got the order from Amazon a few days ago and the mail must be slow because I didn't choose expedited shipping.
